The Tradition of Camp Stillwood
On Wednesday morning on September 23, about 250 Middle campus students, 40 parents, and 25 staff members loaded up and headed to Camp Stillwood for 3 days and 2 nights. What a fabulous time we all experienced as we spent time getting to know each other better, enjoying many outdoor activities together, and worshipping our Lord and Creator of all things during our Chapel times.
Our Camp theme this year was “Aliens and Strangers in this Land” – Living a counter cultural life, according to the Gospel. Our guiding verse was from I Peter 2:11-12 – “Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul. Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute your prejudices. Then they’ll be won over to God’s side and be there to join in the celebration when He arrives.”
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Middle Campus for all the planning and organizing that is necessary for this to be a positive experience for our students. A special thank you to Ms. Lim and Mr. Penner for taking on the role of Camp Directors this year. Also, we could not have done it without the help and support of so many parents who willingly came along. Thank you! We actually had more than we needed, which is a wonderful problem to have.
Please enjoy the photo gallery and video from our experience at Camp Stillwood last week! We have a wonderful group of eager students at the Middle Campus, and we are looking forward to a great year together!

Critical Thinking in Grade 7
Grade 7 students started the year off with action-packed group team building activities. Students had to re-awaken their critical thinking skills in order to solve various challenges that involved moving teams from one end of the gym to another on small mats, as well as lowering bars and hoops together as a team.
