SECONDARY CAMPUS LIBRARY
Welcome to the RCS Secondary Campus Library
Visit the The Curious Library blog to see what’s happening!
At RCS, our Libraries strive to fulfill our Philosophy and Purpose by making them an integral part of the educational program and an extension of the classroom. To enrich our students understanding of God’s creation, resources are provided to foster an appreciation of literature and learning in different formats and at varying levels.
The Secondary Library is a bright and inviting space in our school which is used to capacity every day. It has a large collection of Resource Books from various perspectives in both print and eBook form. The Fiction section is diverse and includes graphic novels and manga. Students also have access to SORA, an electronic reading platform, and a variety of high-quality subscription databases for learning and research. Currently our library has desktop computers with sophisticated software, a class set of tablets, and wireless access allowing students to use their own devices. The Maker Space provides students with access to various technologies for creating from low tech tools such as crochet hooks to high tech tools such as the 3D printer. Exciting Library Programs and Reading Promotions keep students engaged in reading for pleasure and build community.

The library is open to students before school, at lunch and afterschool. Classes book to use the space as needed.
