PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Mrs. Neufeld

Ms. Bonnie Burton
Principal
RCS Secondary Campus

Welcome to the Secondary Campus!

We are so thankful that you have chosen to send your children to Richmond Christian School. It is the explicit mission of Richmond Christian School to ‘equip all students to joyfully serve Christ in all aspects of life’. We want to make disciples for Christ. Teachers do that by being explicit in integrating Christian worldview in their course presentations. We seek to pull back the curtain on God’s created world to help students understand that everything that is created was created by God. It is very exciting to see students begin to understand that we do not learn things in isolation – God is revealing himself to us constantly.

My purpose as the Principal at Richmond Christian Secondary Campus is to care for and support your children. We want to partner with you so that together we can support your child in reaching the goals that they have set for the present and for what is to come, understanding that we are whole beings, and we need to nourish our whole selves: physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual.

We also have an explicit purpose to build community. Through participation in clubs and on sports teams, your child will have the opportunity to connect with different people in the RCS community, developing leadership skills and learning what it means to ‘joyfully serve Christ’.

Many of our students, have journeyed through the elementary and middle campuses and now they are ending their time at RCS with us here at the secondary campus. We know that they have had a solid foundation in their learning and in their faith formation. We are excited to be able to continue the good work that has already begun. We are also very excited for those who are just beginning their journey with us.

It is our deep hope that your children would come to know the Lord in a transformative way and that they would be equipped to live well in the world, honoring and glorifying the Lord in all that they do!

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do,
in word or deed,
do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.
