School Closures due to Inclement Weather

Richmond Christian School will try to determine school closures due to inclement weather by 7 a.m.

Closures and delayed openings will be announced on the school’s website, social media and app.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s safe travel to school. If schools are open, and you wish to keep your child home due to weather conditions, you may do so. Please let your campus Administrative Assistant know of this decision. Students are reminded to wear appropriate clothing for the conditions. When sidewalks and roads are slippery, students walking to school should take extra care.

If snowfall begins while school is in session, in most circumstances, the school will remain open until the end of the school day.

BUSING

Shuttle and school bus services will continue to operate on their normal schedule during days with snow or other severe weather. Should the condition of side streets require a cancellation or change to the operation of school buses for students using the service, affected families will be informed.
