ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN 2024
The Annual Giving Campaign is a fund designed to support initiatives that contribute to students at all three campuses. Each year we rely on generous donations from our parents, families, and friends to provide additional resources for our students.
As we approach the end of our 2024 giving campaign, I want to thank those who helped us reach 86% of our $370,000 goal. While we’re grateful for your generosity, we aim for 100% to move forward with our next urgent priority.
My hope is that we achieve our full goal by year-end, celebrating the completion of the Innovation and Technology campaign. This will significantly impact our classrooms, equipping staff and students with essential tools and skills.
Our next pressing priorities include addressing capacity issues at all campuses, upgrading our elementary campus, and preparing for the expiring lease of our middle campus. The elementary building, dating from 1986, needs improvements for dynamic learning spaces, natural lighting, and better HVAC systems. We’re also considering the future of our middle campus partnership.
We feel called to create more spaces for students to experience Christ-centered education and leadership preparation. Recent surveys show strong support for growth among staff and parents.
This ambitious vision requires faith and increased donations. RCS currently has the lowest donations per student among BC Christian schools, despite having the highest annual family income. We need to be prepared for opportunities like purchasing land, upgrading facilities, or expanding campuses.
Consider the legacy you’re building. Previous families made it possible for your children to attend RCS. We need your help to ensure future generations can experience quality Christ-centered education.
Please pray and consider a year-end gift to help us reach our $275,000 goal. This will complete our Innovation and Technology campaign and prepare for a sustainable future.
Thank you for supporting RCS. May God bless your family this Christmas.
